Altarium stores your data locally on your device and backs it up securely to our servers (Firebase). This allows you to:
We do not collect personal identifiers like email addresses or phone numbers. Your account is anonymous and identified by a unique ID.
All your service records, badges, and preferences are stored locally and backed up to Firebase Firestore. This data is:
Account Recovery: Altarium generates a recovery code that allows you to restore your account on a new device. This code is stored securely in Firebase and linked to your anonymous account ID.
If you submit feedback through the app, we store your message and optionally your contact email (if provided) in Firebase Firestore. This is used solely to respond to your feedback and improve the app.
When you make a purchase (e.g., creating a group), we verify the transaction with Apple or Google and store a record of the purchase linked to your anonymous account ID. We do not have access to your payment details.
If you choose to join a parish group (optional feature), only the following is shared within that group:

Altarium is intended for users aged 9 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
To delete all your data, use the "Delete Account" feature in the app (Settings → Delete Account). This removes all your data from our servers including backups, group memberships, and purchase records.
Simply uninstalling the app removes local data but does not delete your cloud data.
